TPB AFK: The Pirate Bay Away From Keyboard is a documentary film released on February 8, 2013, directed by Simon Klose, based on the lives of the three founders of The Pirate Bay – Peter Sunde, Fredrik Neij and Gottfrid Svartholm. Filming began in summer 2008, and concluded on 25 August 2012.

The film’s website was launched on 28 August 2010, along with a Kickstarter campaign to raise US$25,000 to hire an editor after the Court of Appealtrial. The campaign was fully funded within three days and raised in total.nIn February 2011, the Swedish government’s Arts Grants CommitteeKonstnärsnämnden granted the project an additional 200,000 SEK.

The full film released under a Creative Commons license onto The Pirate Bay and other BitTorrent sites. Also, a four minute shorter version was released at the same time for those who wish to remix or re-edit their own version of the film, featuring an edit with certain copyright restricted content removed, under a slightly different Creative Commons license.

For those who wish to support the creators, apart from online donations, they can buy the DVD version and Digital Download. The pre-order price of the DVD is 23$ and a Digital Download is 10$ these comes with deleted scenes and bonus material. Pre-orders can be made via the official movie website. TPB AFK’s cinema premiere took place at the Berlin International Film Festival on 8 February 2013, opening the festival’s documentary section, and was released online for worldwide free download (or purchase) at exactly the same time on YouTube and on The Pirate Bay.

“Homage to Catalonia II” is a documentary that is part of an academic research project. We investigate new economic cultures, new forms of living and of understanding the economy. For the IN 3, the High School Institute of Research of the University Open to Catalonia.

We study the social impact of the economics|economies that do not follow the patterns of the market, where profits are the priority, and that have the satisfaction of the needs and the desires for the persons as a goal.

A project of Joana Conill, Manuel Castells and Àlex Ruiz produced by IN3 under a Creative Commons license. This is the English version, there are also versions in Catalan and Spanish.

“Homage to Catalonia II” is a tool for research. Not a finished, conclusive and closed work, but a work in progress. We want this documentary to be open to everybody, in and out of the university realm, that’s why it has a Creative Commons license.
