Scheduled maintenance: Saturday, 17 October 2026, 20:00 CEST (UTC+2)

I will be performing #backups, #updates and other #maintenance on the following #Friendica project services:

• files.friendi.ca
• git.friendi.ca
• ci.friendi.ca

The maintenance window is expected to last approximately two hours.

During this time, the services may go up and down several times and should not be considered reliably available.

I will post #status updates as replies to this message. Please check this thread for the current status.

Once I post the final all-clear, the services can be considered fully and reliably available again.

Sorry I missed the time window and don't feel well enough today to carry this out tonight.

I will see in the morning if I feel better and will inform here when and if I start.

first small tasks are done, not woodpecker backup is running, which take some time.
ci.friendi.ca will be down during this backup, the db backup is the part that takes the longest.

last step will come now, a reboot. For this I will shutdown the server and it should return online in 20 minutes latest. If not I will use @utzer (on squeet.me) to update the status further.

The server is reachable by SSH again, now waiting for startups to finish and then need to check all services.

I think all is running again. I will check that status now, but I guess this was it for the work and downtime.

Sorry it took place delayed and took so long. I feel much better in the meantime, at least my headache ich gone.
