!Friendica Support
Learning question and a call for action:
Why do people say that the #friendica user interface #UI as seen from a standard laptop desktop, in other words a working station screen, isn't a pleasant experience?
This looks like serious stuff to me, like a #newsPaper outlet similiar to #NYtimes or #ZEIT.
Can somebody please #enshittify this #KISS a littel bit, wasting time, attention and selfconfidence of the coder community!

- The page background, seen here on this server as a big center #copyLeftFleur is modifiable.
- The logo kind footer as weel.
- A simple text field for the main header of the page, like in this case [common ground | CC-BY-SA-NC] fits nicely.
Can somebody please #enshittify this #KISS a littel bit, wasting time, attention and selfconfidence of the coder community!

•Tusky (an app I was using to post) errored out for the post I sent, and I suppose in a panic, race-condition, or something, tried to re-post (or my server did) multiple times. It was not my intent to send the same post multiple times.
I have deleted the repeat posts on my end, but I've found that post deletions seem to propagate with less guarantee than the post themselves.
I think we all just need a little more patience with an open source, decentralized system that sometimes has it's quirks like this because it doesn't have the multi-million dollar budget to iron out everything all the time.
Thanks, and good luck.

•Look's like that's right here and now a good #bugReport for the @Friendica Developers and/or @Tusky.
Adding details:
The kernel panic by #tusky was probably because of the neat beauty of the UI and was mentioned by JB who apparently runs dev version 2025.02 on ubuntu 2020.lts at the time.
(btw 2024.04lts still is somehow a mess, looks like never update to stable but only to old stable for a serious working environment)
The original post was send actually from friendica 2023.05 and forum.friendi.ca is on stable 2024.12.
As of now no idea if @Steffen K9 🐰 ( oh there he is!) is available. He might be the one to delete on the helpers profile itself.
Over here the comments were deleted in the moment, so in any case, as the original link points to over here, there is also some harm reduction and some moderation capability already in the setup.
Actually the biggest problem seems to be that the answers do still show up on mastodon.
Looks like for mastodon the owner is the helpers page and not you or the profile over here.
So mastodonian @mʕ•ﻌ•ʔm bitPickup, are you gone apologize for being rude or do you choose:
"Go straight to the @Pillory!
Don't pass by the service station, don't catch likes or visite any other notification first."
